"God wants to bring us into a season of being satisfied". (Even in the battle)
Some of us are like David in Psalm 13 - "how long oh lord will you ignore me, how long will you hide your face from me, how long will I carry this trouble" But the Psalmist ended by declaring God will rescue Him.
5 But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. 6 I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.
I believe we are in a season of coming out of the battle declaring with our mouths God's victory over our lives.
I woke up this morning to the words of:
Ps 91:16 "With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation." Going over and over in my head "I will satisfy him" got my attention. Wow! God promise is to satisfy us he wants to meet our expectations, needs, desires, even our demands.
Definition - Satisfy verb (used with object), 1. to fulfil the desires, expectations, needs, or demands of (a person, the mind, etc.); give full contentment to: 2. to put an end to (a desire, want, need, etc.) by the sufficient or ample provision.
Our Father longs to meet the needs of his children. Sometimes we can find ourselves so desperate for God to meet our need we forget. "It's His good pleasure to give us the Kingdom"- Luke 12:32
Our God is withholding nothing he reminded me of this scripture- "For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.- Ps 84:11
Our Father is bringing ample provision for whatever he has asked you to do in the Kingdom. We can be of the opinion that's our job is to satisfy ourselves but it can't be because this verse goes on to say He will show us His salvation- Through Him satisfying us He will reveal His Salvation (Hebrew -to save, help in distress, rescue, deliver, set free). His Salvation is always a gift nothing we can earn.
There are places of freedom being opened up to the Body of Christ right now as we relax and rest in the promise God is satisfying us we will see a flow on affect where we are delivered, rescued, set free out of situations we had no possible way out. The verse before carries a powerful picture of God's nature-
“He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him" - Ps 91:15
