There is a wave coming

During a worship service on January 14, 2024, I had a vision applicable to both individuals and the collective Body of Christ.

In the vision, I found myself on a surfboard at a surf beach. I was joined by a group of others, including Jesus, and we were all on surfboards. We were floating behind the waves in the calm waters. We anticipated a swell, though initially it seemed flat with no waves on the horizon.

People seemed discouraged, saying there was no swell. Jesus was saying to different people, "There is a wave coming." He could see the swell; we could not. As people started to paddle, I sensed the Lord encouraging them to heed His voice, signaling the impending wave.

Even though they could not see the waves, they started to echo the Lord, "There is a wave coming!" and began paddling. This caused them to be in the right position to catch the wave.

The message resonated. I thought of the scripture about a new thing springing forth. Do we perceive it?

"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." (Isaiah 43:19)

The vision underscored both individual and collective readiness, and how alignment to Jesus' voice over circumstances brings breakthrough.
